Tensegrity - and other Contradictory Complicities
This 2-day symposium at Tenderpixel London aims to foster cultural exchange between Switzerland and UK, establish a fruitful dialogue between cultural experts and cross-pollinate ideas of different artistic genres and disciplines. We will take the idea of Tensegrity (tensional integrity) as a flexible, adaptable and resilient structure widely researched in architecture, engineering and biology as a starting point for our forum of knowledge exchange in contemporary art and beyond. We have chosen artists, curators and other experts from Switzerland and UK, whose art practices share interests in current political issues, social shifts and systemic ruptures. Contributions include artist talks, screenings, lecture performances and micro-workshops with the audience.
